In 1927 the US Department of Agriculture established its colour classification for extracted honey based on Pfund values as shown below. Same is used in Canada. Australia has slight different scale.

* Optical Density (absorbance) = log10 (100/percent.transmittance), at 560 nm for 3.15 cm thickness for caramel - glycerin solutions measured versus an equal cell containing glycerin.

We mainly supply the Ukrainian wildflower (also know as meadow) polyflora / multiflower honey. Generally it is light and extra light amber about 50mm Pfund and sometimes with max 85 mm Pfund. It has color from light golden or orange yellow to yellow-brown depending on flowers in it.
Upon request we can also prepare sunflower (light amber max 85 mm) depending on season), buckwheat (dark type) and acacia natural bee honey.
